Look at a picture in a book, magazine, museum, or anywhere you see a picture. Think about where is the picture set? What is in the picture? What could you add to the picture? Describe the picture. Use it to help you with the story ideas.

  16. My Top Tips Are:
    1. If you get stuck on a character, try to make a drawing of the character, it might help you.

2.A clever way to describe how a character is feeling is through dialogue, so the character can tell you themselves.

    3. If you can not find the words to describe what a character would do or say, close your eyes and just imagine how you would feel if you were in their position.

    4. Use very short sentences then long sentences which makes your story more interesting.

    5. You don't always have to start at the beginning of a story you could start in the middle, e.g. instead of writing - The girl woke up and got out of bed then walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror…. you could say - The girl was shocked when saw her face …..
